Who Is Your Neighbor? - Luke 10:36

"Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? Luke 10:36"

Jesus Christ is a great God and always has a perfect answer for any questions that are bothering us. Jesus Christ was teaching when a certain lawyer who wanted to justify himself asked Jesus who his neighbor was. Now, according to the dictionary definition, a neighbor is a person who lives next to or near another person. However, in the Kingdom of God, being a neighbor requires an action. Anyone who meets the need of another person is a neighbor to that person. Jesus Christ used the parable of the good Samaritan to explain what it is to be a neighbor in the Kingdom of God (Luke 10:30-35).
