*Romans 7:5 ~ Our evil desires*

For while we were in the flesh, the passions of sin caused by the law worked in our members, so that we bore fruit unto death.

When God placed Adam and Eve in Eden, He allowed them to eat fruit from all the trees except one. There was only one tree that he ordered them not to eat from. This tree was called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Our bad feelings cause us to do all kinds of bad things. Our evil ambitions make us desire things that God has not given us. Our evil pride is the reason we refuse to be humble before God.

Let us not behave like Adam and Eve. On the contrary, we must obey God, approaching him humbly, with faith, active belief, and trust in him.
