*Mark 10:28-31 ~ God is good to his people*

28. Peter said to him, 'We have left everything to follow you!' 29. 'I tell you the truth,' Jesus replied, 'no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30. will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields-and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life. 31. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.'

God is very good to his people. He doesn't deprive them of what they need.

This is true, even in this world. Someone can leave many things because they want to work for God. Other people may be cruel to that person, but God is not cruel.

This person may have left their family to work for God. But God will give him other people who will love him. This person may have left their home. But God will give him a new home. And God will give him many new homes if he needs them.

In this world there will always be problems. But there will be no problems in the future world where God reigns. And there, the people of God will have a life that will have no end.
