Learning to save - Proverbs 21:20

"There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. Proverbs 21:20"

The scripture above gives a distinction between the wise and the fool; it gives one quality of the wise which the fool despises. This quality is the ability to save. The wise has a consistent habit of saving a portion of what he earns but the fool has a habit of spending everything he earns. Even when the fool is bequeathed with treasures he squanders it even to the extent of squandering what is not his.
