Favor - Proverbs 18:22

"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22"

The Favor of marriage is given to the man who finds a wife and not a woman. It is not every woman that can be a wife, therefore, the onus lies with the man to consult God to help him find a wife. Furthermore, marriage was not created by God for everybody; that is why there are eunuchs or celibates. This favor which the man gets from God for finding a wife cannot lead to divorce but rather leads to stronger union, prosperity, peace etc.
