Enjoying Singleness - Proverbs 25:24

"It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house. Proverbs 25:24"

People who are single desiring to get married must first of all enjoy their status. When they are able to enjoy their singleness then they can make the opposite sex happy. The opening scripture explains that we don't marry "to be happy" for marriage could be our worst nightmare. It also counsels the bachelors and spinsters to choose carefully. It is better to stay single at the corner of the housetop, than to marry a woman who turns out to be quarrelsome and noisy in a big mansion. This principle also holds for women as well. Let us seek the guidance of God when choosing a life partner.
